Pedro Ribeiro is a data scientist working jointly with Dr. Ho’s lab at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Dr. Lau’s lab at Massachusetts General Hospital. At BIDMC he will work on two projects with BIDMC-based patient cohorts. Specifically, he will be leading analyses and applying machine learning to examine the association of clinical and electrocardiographic traits with cardiovascular outcomes in a BIDMC-specific electronic health record-based cohort of individuals who have received longitudinal care at BIDMC affiliated primary care clinics. Second, he will co-lead data abstraction, QC, and analyses for a pregnancy cohort of individuals with deliveries at BIDMC. He will also be working on related projects and analysis with Mass General Brigham based cohorts in collaboration with Dr. Lau’s lab at MGH.
