Once a year the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Dept. of Medicine hosts a distinguished visiting Professor of Medicine and has a dinner in their honor. Hosted at the Harvard Club, it brings together physicians, nurses, administrators and researchers to celebrate the Departments achievements and the lifetime contributions of the invitee. This years recipient was Dr. Susan E. Quaggin, Chair of the Dept. of Medicine at the Feinberg School of Medicine and Northwestern University.
