Laura Torre

Laura Torre graduated with a BS in biomedical engineering with a concentration in cell and tissue engineering from Columbia Engineering in 2024. Laura is currently a Research Assistant at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center working under Drs. Mathai and Zeidel on studies designed to shed light onto the complex signaling pathways between the bladder and the brain and changes that may accompany lower urinary tract symptoms such as incontinence. Current projects include characterizing animal models using x-ray videocystometry and fiber photometry.
