James O'Leary

James O'Leary is a vascular surgery resident at BIDMC pursing two dedicated research years in the lab. James is local, from Dedham, Massachusetts and grew up a Boston sports fan as well as playing lacrosse and hockey. He is an MD graduate of the University of Queensland-Ochsner Clinical School studying clinical medicine in Australia and New Orleans. Interesting fact: he won a lacrosse state championship in Australia! His clinical interests are in vascular biology and translation research in vascular surgery specifically neointimal hyperplasia. In free time, James continues to enjoy sports, and plans to run the Boston Marathon during time in the lab.
