Jesus Revuelta-Cervantes

Jesus Revuelta Cervantes, PhD, is a Senior Scientist in the laboratory of Dr. Patric within the Department of Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Dr. Revuelta Cervantes specializes in basic and translational surgical science, bridging molecular biology, biochemistry, and RNA biology to explore complex cellular mechanisms. His investigative work within the Liang Lab focuses on advancing vascular research, specifically mapping novel biomolecular pathways, cellular signaling networks, and potential intervention targets relevant to peripheral vascular diseases, aortic aneurysms, and vascular remodeling. 

 

Crucially, his research leverages advanced in vivo experimental models and primary tissue assays to accelerate bench-to-bedside discoveries in vascular care. Operating in a highly collaborative capacity, he coordinates research workflows alongside multidisciplinary teams of clinicians, pathologists, and bioinformaticians to translate laboratory breakthroughs into actionable clinical strategies. Outside of the laboratory, Dr. Revuelta Cervantes is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys practicing soccer and training in karate.
