Dr. Yu-Ming Chang Awarded 2025 RSNA Research Seed Grant Funding

The RSNA Research & Education Foundation has announced that Dr. Yu-Ming Chang's RSNA Research Seed Grant application, entitled “Non-Invasive Quantification of Glymphatic Function in Patients With Stroke," has been funded. Dr. Chang's application was among the top-ranked and approved for seed funding by the Foundation's Board of Trustees. In support of Dr. Chang's radiologic research, the Foundation will provide $60,000 to be used as a 1-year grant, effective July 1, 2025.

Dr. Marwan Moussa Receives American Heart Association's "Innovative Project Award" Funding

The American Heart Association (AHA) has approved an Innovative Project Award for Dr. Marwan Moussa's project entitled "Paradigm Shift in Primary Aldosteronism Management Utilizing Cell-Free DNA." He will receive a two-year, $200,000 award to support his research. Read more.

David Alsop, PhD, Receives $9.1 Million ARPA-H Grant through National "Sprint for Women's Health" Initiative

  • Major goals: Building on prior findings of successful improvement of ablation antitumor immunity, survival benefits in two clinically relevant models are investigated. Simulating a portal shower 1) the effect of nano immune / TA therapies on microscopic metastasis in a colorectal cancer model are investigated. In a hepatoma model 2) the effect of nano immune/TA therapies on tumor recurrence is characterized.
