BIDMC Radiology Presents at Society of Advanced Body Imaging's 2023 Annual Meeting

Members of the Department of Radiology attended and presented at the Society of Advanced Body Imaging (SABI)’s Annual Meeting from Oct. 7-11 in Dallas, Texas. 

  • Dr. Karen Lee presented the workshop "Scrotal MRI Does/Doesn't Add Value to Scrotal US."
  • Dr. Francesca Rigiroli presented the workshop "Ovarian Cancer: A Radiologist's Perspective" with Dr. Causa from The Mayo Clinic, was a Quality and Safety plenary panelist to provide a BIDMC trainee perspective in the “Peer-Learning Conversation,” and presented a poster titled "Predicting Outcomes of Patients with Pneumatosis Intestinalis on CT Based on a Combination of Clinical and Radiological Factors."
  • Dr. Yuval Liberman, our Sven Paulin Cardiovascular Research Fellow, gave an oral presentation titled “Could the Coronary Artery Calcium Score Be a Reliable Predictor of Coronary Artery Stenosis in Women?”
  • Dr. Olga Brook, board member of SABI, moderated the GU plenary and was a panelist on the CT innovations plenary, gave a TED Talk called “Alternative Solutions to the Radiologist Shortage,” and presented a workshop titled “Ultrasound-guided Interventions – What's New?”
  • Our former colleague and alumnus Dr. Leo Tsai became a Fellow of the SABI.
  • And we connected with our many alumni, including Drs. Jay Pahade, Sadhna Nandwana, Mishal Mendiratta-Lala, Mike Corwin, and Aarti Sekhar.
