Members of the Department of Radiology attended and presented at the Society of Advanced Body Imaging (SABI)’s Annual Meeting from Oct. 7-11 in Dallas, Texas.
- Dr. Karen Lee presented the workshop "Scrotal MRI Does/Doesn't Add Value to Scrotal US."
- Dr. Francesca Rigiroli presented the workshop "Ovarian Cancer: A Radiologist's Perspective" with Dr. Causa from The Mayo Clinic, was a Quality and Safety plenary panelist to provide a BIDMC trainee perspective in the “Peer-Learning Conversation,” and presented a poster titled "Predicting Outcomes of Patients with Pneumatosis Intestinalis on CT Based on a Combination of Clinical and Radiological Factors."
- Dr. Yuval Liberman, our Sven Paulin Cardiovascular Research Fellow, gave an oral presentation titled “Could the Coronary Artery Calcium Score Be a Reliable Predictor of Coronary Artery Stenosis in Women?”
- Dr. Olga Brook, board member of SABI, moderated the GU plenary and was a panelist on the CT innovations plenary, gave a TED Talk called “Alternative Solutions to the Radiologist Shortage,” and presented a workshop titled “Ultrasound-guided Interventions – What's New?”
- Our former colleague and alumnus Dr. Leo Tsai became a Fellow of the SABI.
- And we connected with our many alumni, including Drs. Jay Pahade, Sadhna Nandwana, Mishal Mendiratta-Lala, Mike Corwin, and Aarti Sekhar.
