WHARP

We aim to advance understanding of symptoms resulting from changes in reproductive hormones in the brain and to investigate strategies to optimize treatment in women across the menopause transition and in women with breast cancer by using clinical trial, observational, and experimental paradigms in humans.

Founded by Dr. Hadine Joffe in 2013, The Women’s Hormones and Aging Research Program (WHARP) is a clinical and translational research group based within the RHYME Research Center in the Department of Psychiatry at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and affiliated with the Dana Farber Cancer Institute Division of Breast Oncology and Division of Psychosocial Oncology and Palliative Care.
