MD, MPH
Clinical Research Coordinator

Mariale is a physician from Lima, Peru, currently working in clinical research. She served on the front lines during the COVID-19 pandemic before moving to Boston to earn her MPH from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Her research interests lie at the intersection of women’s health and mental health, with a particular focus on maternal and child health, health equity, and improving care for underserved and Spanish-speaking populations. She is especially interested in understanding how social, cultural, and language-related factors shape patients’ experiences and health outcomes. Mariale aspires to become a physician-scientist, combining patient care with research to meaningfully improve the health of women and their families. Her next goal is to pursue residency training in the United States.
