Sara Castro joined the OB/GYN Department in April 2025. Under the supervision of Dr. Rose Molina, she works on projects focused on understanding patient perspectives and preferences regarding the use of robotics in healthcare.

Sara recently earned her MPH in Healthcare Management with a concentration in Public Health Leadership from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She holds a BA in Medicine, Literature, and Society from Columbia University and is currently a fourth-year medical student (MS4) at Harvard Medical School. Her research interests center on promoting equity in healthcare, integrating emerging technologies to reduce disparities in patient communication and care, and improving healthcare navigation and language access.
