The Structural Biology Core Facility at BIDMC has served the scientific community for more than 18 years, supporting academic laboratories, startups, and global pharmaceutical partners from early concept through successful execution. We foster a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment by hosting workshops—including the Northeast Bioanalytics Workshop—as well as microscopy and structural biology training sessions designed to empower researchers at all experience levels.
Dr. Gabriel Birrane, Director of the Structural Biology Core, also serves as Co-Director of the Preclinical Liver Core Facility and is an active member of the Center for Vascular Biology Research (CVBR) at BIDMC, further strengthening our engagement across collaborative scientific communities.
