Our area of scientific focus is the nervous system and its relationship with the body.
Our mission is to catalyze innovative neuroscience research across Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. We promote and develop new collaborations between our neurology/neurosciences research teams and BIDMC clinicians and scientists in other disciplines that will lead to groundbreaking discoveries and innovations.
We do this by facilitating connections within the Neuroscience Hub, with other Hubs, and with Industry. The Hub promotes the use of Research Core Facilities and seeks to build new resources together with other Hubs. We are currently in the process of developing an institutional biorepository in partnership with the other Hubs. We organize symposia and networking events to showcase the neuroscience research at BIDMC and to grow our community!
