Dr. Evan Rosen
Evan Rosen, MD, PhD received his B.S. from Cornell University and his M.D. and Ph.D degrees from the University of Michigan. After completing a residency in Internal Medicine (Brigham and Women’s Hospital) and a Fellowship in Endocrinology (Massachusetts General Hospital), he received post-doctoral training in the lab of Bruce Spiegelman before starting his own lab at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. At present, he is a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, an Institute Member of the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT, and Chief of the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at BIDMC. His research group has an array of interests related to the epigenomic and transcriptional control of metabolism, with a special emphasis on adipocyte biology. He enjoys reading, cooking, and embarrassing his children.
