Visiting Student Scholarship
The Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care, and Pain Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is pleased to offer financial assistance to two third/fourth-year medical students to complete anesthesia elective at BIDMC!
This scholarship is $2,500 and is meant to offset the cost of housing and travel to Boston for the clerkship.
Students must be in good academic standing at a US accredited medical school and must complete all requirements for application to the clerkship. Please visit the Harvard Medical School Registrar's Office for further information on the HMS Visiting Clerkship Program.
All interested students MUST apply via VSLO before completing this application. Options for BIDMC anesthesiology electives are: Clinical Anesthesia (AE501M.5), Pain Relief in Childbirth (AE502M.1), or Respiratory-Surgical Intensive Care (AE503M.1a).
Please note: Only the three aforementioned courses are eligible for scholarship application. Please be sure to re-check course catalogue numbers. For example: students accepted to Respiratory and Surgical Critical Care Elective (SU525M.12) would not be eligible to apply.
Interested applicants should contact Dr. Maria Borrelli for additional information.
