Dr. Chenxi Qiu was one member of the Harvard group led by Dr. Bruce Yankner that just published their breakthrough results in Nature. Particularly exciting was their finding that supplementation of the diets of mice with lithium orotate - a cheap and readily available supplement - can prevent disease onset and even restore memory in aged mice while reducing production of amyloid plaques
