Huntington's Disease Program

Huntington's disease (HD) is an inherited condition that causes a progressive breakdown of nerve cells in the brain over time. Most people with HD develop symptoms that impact their mental and physical abilities in their 30s or 40s, but symptoms may appear earlier or later in life. At BIDMC, our multidisciplinary team works together with you and your family to offer innovative and compassionate care to meet your physical, cognitive and emotional needs.

Huntington's Disease Interdisciplinary Clinic

The Huntington’s Disease Interdisciplinary Clinic takes place on Mondays. This appointment includes a consultation with neurology initially to determine what other providers are needed, such as social work. We will work with you to outline an individualized treatment plan.
