Orthopaedic Oncology
Division overview
In the division of Orthopaedic Oncology, we do not just stop at providing clinical care for our diverse patients. We also are involved in asking scientific questions and finding answers to them so we can provide the best, up-to-date care. Some of our recent research endeavors include investigations to determine how best to treat giant cell tumors, a study to know which blood thinners would serve our patients best, outcomes following tumors affecting the upper limb, and the best approach to make sure our patients are optimized in terms of nutrition. We frequently collaborate with our colleagues at Boston Children’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital on both local and national studies.
