Dr. Iannis Adamopoulos

Iannis Adamopoulos, DPhil, is the Director of the Arthritis Program, Head of the Osteoimmunology Laboratory at BIDMC, and member of the faculty of HMS. Dr. Adamopoulos is a basic scientist who was trained in infectious disease and pursued a research career in immunology. He has worked in both academia and industry and has maintained close ties with many industry partners who actively fund translational projects in the lab. Dr. Adamopoulos also has significant experience and success with mentoring students, fellows, and junior faculty.
