Brittne Halford, MD, MPH
Brittne Halford is the Co-Director of the Department of Medicine Center for Trainee Affairs. Dr. Halford is a hospitalist and a Stoneman Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Preceptor. She earned her medical degree from Northwestern University and completed her residency at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Halford then spent two years as an attending physician at Emory before joining faculty at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Dr. Halford is deeply committed to providing equitable patient care. She was the impetus for the “Hair Care for All” initiative at Beth Israel Lahey, which focuses on inclusivity by providing hair products suitable for all patients, ensuring culturally competent and respectful care across diverse populations. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Halford is passionate about financial wellness. She is a financial coach for women in healthcare and has spoken at numerous conferences on financial empowerment. Through her work, she aims to promote overall wellness by improving financial literacy.
