Chandler Yap, MD

Dr. Chandler Yap is the Inpatient Chief Medical Resident for the Tullis Firm. Chandler grew up in Ocala, Florida, and received his undergraduate degree in exercise physiology from Florida State University (Go Noles!) He migrated north to attend medical school at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill before continuing his journey to find consistently colder weather to Boston, where he completed his internal medicine residency at BIDMC. Prior to starting his chief year, Chandler joined the Division of Hospital Medicine at BIDMC to start his career as an academic hospitalist and Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. In his free time, Chandler enjoys hiking and skiing in the white mountains, biking the minute man trail, enjoying the Boston food and beer scene, and dragging his fiancé, Dar, on international adventures.
