Delia Motavalli, MD

Dr. Delia Motavalli is the Chief Medical Resident for the Blumgart firm. Delia grew up in Fairfield, Connecticut, and then moved to Boston for college and never left. She went to Tufts University, where she studied biochemistry and Spanish, and then attended medical school at Boston University School of Medicine. Following internal medicine residency at BIDMC, Delia completed addiction medicine residency at Boston Medical Center, and has had research interests in syringe access for people who inject drugs, and safe opioid prescribing on hospital discharge. Outside of the hospital, she enjoys exploring new restaurants, biking/hiking, crossword puzzles, board games, and lounging with her two cats.
