Sarah Rokaw, MD
Dr. Sarah Rokaw is the Inpatient Chief Medical Resident for the Kurland Firm. She originally hails from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but spent her childhood in Louisiana. She attended college at Washington University in St. Louis, where she majored in biochemistry, and spent a summer in Boston conducting research on the neural pathways of micturition. She returned to Pittsburgh for medical school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and then to Boston for residency at BIDMC. During her medical training, she developed a passion for nephrology and completed her first year of nephrology fellowship at BIDMC prior to chief year. Her clinical and academic interests include women’s health nephrology, dialysis population outcomes, and medical education. Outside of the hospital, you can find her spending time with her husband and very energetic dog at the parks around Brookline or relaxing at home with a good book.
