Resources

The Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorder Center at BIDMC is proud to be a Parkinson Foundation Center of Excellence. At our Center, we are committed to maximizing your quality of life by optimizing your health and keeping you connected and informed.

Our Center offers many resources that you may find to be helpful. This page is a beginning step towards learning more and understanding Parkinson’s disease. As you read and learn more, keep in mind that Parkinson’s disease is highly variable. No one person will develop every symptom of Parkinson’s disease. It is important to understand that the clinical course and ultimate severity of this condition varies considerably among patients. Our goal is to help our patients to do well over time while enjoying active and productive lives.
