Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship

Program Overview

The Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) Clinical Electrophysiology (EP) fellowship is an ACGME-accredited training program, which offers a comprehensive curriculum spanning the full spectrum of electrophysiology, integrating basic science, clinical practice, and advanced procedural training. The curriculum is structured to provide in-depth didactic and hands-on experience across multiple facets of the field, ranging from its molecular and cellular underpinnings and cardiac genetics to individual and population-based management of clinical arrhythmias and cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs). Incoming fellows have all completed general cardiology training (either general cardiology board certified or eligible at start of EP training) and graduate the program eligible for the cardiac electrophysiology boards.

Dr. Patricia Tung directs the cardiac electrophysiology fellowship program at BIDMC.
