Peter Zimetbaum, MD is the Richard and Susan Smith Professor of Cardiology at Harvard Medical School and the Clinical Director and Associate Chief of Cardiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Dr. Zimetbaum is a cardiac electrophysiologist with clinical and research interests in the evaluation and management of thromboembolic risk associated with atrial fibrillation and cardiac electronic implantable device complications. Dr. Zimetbaum also has a longstanding interest in ambulatory arrhythmia device evaluations and runs the ECG and Arrhythmia core laboratory.
