Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Division of Endocrinology, Boston Children’s Hospital-Harvard Medical School

The Miao lab at Boston Children’s Hospital is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow to study the cellular, molecular, and genetic mechanisms underlying insulin resistance-associated metabolic disease. The Miao lab values mentorship and collegiality, as well as dedication and creativity. Several exciting projects are available depending on the experience of the candidate. Requirements A successful candidate must have (or soon receive) a PhD degree or equivalent in a relevant area of biomedical sciences and a strong record of productivity. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in molecular and cellular biology and in vivo mouse models of disease. Prior experience in metabolism, endocrinology, and metabolic diseases is a plus. She/he must also be capable of working independently in a teamwork environment and have excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
