FBRI is dedicated to advancing research in Alzheimer’s disease and related brain disorders towards therapeutics. We believe that therapeutic breakthroughs are achieved through discoveries in disease biology, the development of transformative technologies, and increased information exchange. To accomplish this mission, FBRI develops and administers a diverse science portfolio, an international program of both basic and translational research projects at academic research institutions, and early-stage commercial entities. FBRI also oversees Alzforum.org, a news and information resource dedicated to helping researchers accelerate discovery and advance the development of diagnostics and treatments for Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders.
Position Summary:
The ideal candidate is a curious and motivated scientist committed to accelerating neurodegeneration research with a strong interest in translational science. The research analyst will oversee the day-to-day management of FBRI’s diverse science portfolio and play a vital role in funding decisions. The analyst will also assist in the development of interdisciplinary meetings, perform ongoing background research on specific areas within the field, prepare presentations, and make recommendations on potential applications for FBRI funding. The successful candidate will work closely with the President and Assistant Director to advance FBRI’s mission and will find a dynamic and rewarding work environment with significant opportunities to identify and tackle challenges in the field.
