Dr. Aronson performs a wide range of surgeries, including deep brain stimulation for Parkinson's Disease, Essential Tremor, Epilepsy, and Obsessive-Compulsive disorder, epilepsy monitoring and treatments, shunt procedures, microvascular decompression for facial pain and hemifacial spasm, and other cranial neurosurgical procedures. Lab for Neuromodulation Research

The research group encompasses human, translational, and pre-clinical projects focusing on novel neuromodulation devices such as thin-film brain-computer interface devices, new applications for neuromodulation and cell therapy for epilepsy, major depressive disorder, and stroke, and human neurophysiology experiments focused on learning and memory.
