- By taking part in the Shapiro Scholars program, PIs are expected to:
- Submit a research project for the BILH Office of Student Engagement and Experience to promote to the HMS first-year cohort
- Act as a mentor to the HMS student(s) they host, and provide a welcoming and supportive environment throughout the experience
- Proactively communicate needs and concerns with the Shapiro Institute and Office of Student Engagement and Experience contacts throughout the experience
- Participate in an end-of program evaluation
