Launching the Interactive Periodic Table of Monosaccharides

Earlier this month we launched the interactive periodic table of monosaccharides based on Dr. Richard D. Cummings recent publication describing the table in Glycobiology (2024, 34, cwad088). The interactive version of the periodic table of monosaccharides is a web based tool in which the monosaccharides are arranged as per their size and type in a manner similar to the periodic table of elements as described in the publication. The interactivity enables users to click on any of the monosaccharide's tiles to open details about the monosaccharides such as abbreviation, systematic name, mass, formula, links to external references and SNFG symbol.

The tool description can found at: https://glycotoolkit.com/periodic-table-of-monosaccharides/ and
the tool itself is available at: https://glycotoolkit.com/Tools/periodic-table-of-monosaccharides/
