Translational Research Hubs

The Translational Research Hubs are an initiative at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) led by the Chief Academic Officer, Dr. Gyongyi Szabo. Establishing these multi-disciplinary research Hubs is part of BIDMC’s Institutional Strategic Plan for Innovation, Research and Education, (InSPIRE), which aims to enhance BIDMC’s research infrastructure and support the translation of innovations that drive extraordinary care.

Each Translational Research Hub focuses on a unique area of research and is structured to foster inter-departmental collaboration between investigators and physician-scientists with complementary scientific priorities who share the goal of translating research from bench to bedside for the benefit of patients at BIDMC and beyond.
